Children are our most precious treasure. I believe they are the closes to God's heart. We must love and nurture them through every stage of their lives. It is important that we as adults provide children with the proper encouragement and knowledge as they journey through life. I believe that children should have innocence as long as they possibly can.
Children view inappropriate content through our media. I know many people believe it is up to parents or the adult in the home to monitor what they watch, but to many times that is not the case. So many children and youth are left alone because of parents working or whatever else keeps them away from the home. However, parents are still held accountable for how children are progressing into adulthood. That's why it is stated in the Bible, train up a child in the way he should go and when he gets old he will not depart. All adults must take responsibility for children because one day they will become the next generation of people who will be caring for our world. And we cannot blame them if they have not been properly trained by some adult who knows the truth about life and how to live it.
This website was started for just that purpose; to help children view innocent, fun loving, creative media through our Tabs. Children and youth are able to post their own creativity through stories, poems, videos and recipes. And they are able to see what positive venues other youth are taking to encourage their dreams!

I think this website and blog is a wonderful idea. I will introduce it to my girls club at Winton Hills Academy - Sisters of Nia.

Thank you. How do you think parents can help their children change their mind set about watching positive media. Many children and youth will not watch certain movies or videos unless they are PG 13. Or, they go to various websites that are for adults only. What can we as adults do to steer the younger generation away from that type of entertainment?

I agree that our children need more positive influences in their lives.

You have grandchildren, how do you give them that positive influence?

I believe our children should be nurtured both, in school and at home but more important in a Word teaching church. Many children are dying because they have not been given the CHOICE of the Word of God, Jesus Christ. Because they are left to venture their own way many times, their choice is only what the "world" has to offer. We as believers, (parents, family, teachers, church family) have a big responsibility when it comes to our young people/children.

You are absolutely correct. We must give our children choices about their spiritual lives. To many times people leave their children to choices but they have not educated them on any of the choices available to them.We sometimes forget that knowledge is a powerful tool when used correctly and helps enable our youth to make choices that will uplift their lives.

It is true. Children see things through pure eyes and we as adult must guide our young children imagination. If we do not the things in this world will paint a different picture. We should empower our young children minds with biblical stories and they will begin to understand that God is in control.

That is so true. Many people do not believe in pushing their religion or faith on their children. They believe they should choose. But, if you do not expose them to any type of faith then their imaginations will be allowed to run wild and the world's views of life, and religion will infiltrate them. So, if we do not expose them to faith, we leave them to the wiles of the world/devil.

Thank you for your support. I saw a need for this type of website. If you know any children or youth who you think would be interested in the website, by all means pass this website on. We want tham to have a healthy website to feed into. Please encourage them also to blog with us. This will help them with writing and thinking. That is what most of the state tests want students to do.

Children: Not only are they a gift from God, and we often forget that, but they also give us a chance to see what the Lord is like with us, through the missteps of our children.
How quickly we forgive our children when they slip along the way. The Lord is the same way with us.

This is very true Antoine. God is truly our example of how we should treat our children. When you forgive them it sets an example of how they should forgive you and others in the future. Practicing forgiveness sets every one free. It starts with the parents. We are their first teachers.
